FRANCIS BOATENG
A renowned Ghanaian sculptor who has participated in numerous exhibitions around the world, showcasing his sculptures to audiences far and wide. His works have been featured in prestigious galleries and museums, earning him critical acclaim and recognition as one of Africa’s finest sculptors.
Boateng's work is celebrated for its intricate detail and emotive quality, which brings his sculptures to life.

Unforgettable Masterpieces
Francis Boateng has not only made significant contributions to the art world but has also played a pivotal role in preserving Ghana's cultural heritage. In 2023, Boateng took on the role of curator for the newly refurbished Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park (KNMP) project. In addition to his curatorial responsibilities, Boateng also undertook the restoration works on the sculptures at the park, ensuring that they were preserved for future generations to admire and appreciate.
One of his notable works is the Edward Akufo Addo Bronze Statue at Cantonments Roundabout in Accra, which pays tribute to the former President of Ghana. Another remarkable sculpture by Francis is the statue of Major Maxwell Mahama at Airport Hills Roundabout in Accra, honoring the Ghanaian soldier who tragically lost his life in the line of duty.
His works often explore themes of history, culture, and identity, reflecting his deep connection to African heritage and his commitment to preserving its memory through art.
