In 2023, Boateng took on the role of curator for the newly refurbished Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park (KNMP) project. In addition to his curatorial responsibilities, Boateng also undertook the restoration works on the sculptures at the park, ensuring that they were preserved for future generations to admire and appreciate.

One of his notable works is the Edward Akufo Addo Bronze Statue at Cantonments Roundabout in Accra, which pays tribute to the former President of Ghana. Another remarkable sculpture by Francis is the statue of Major Maxwell Mahama at Airport Hills Roundabout in Accra, honoring the Ghanaian soldier who tragically lost his life in the line of duty.

His works often explore themes of history, culture, and identity, reflecting his deep connection to African heritage and his commitment to preserving its memory through art.
